TRAINING

seadogsit.jpg

Sea Dog Inn has established a partnership with Sea Dog Sit, a dog training company.  Boarding services when needed and group socialization and adoption activities are held at the Sea Dog Inn facilities.  Sea Dog Sit offers a number of training options to help your dog become a better companion and permit you to fully enjoy all the experiences you can with your dog.  With the guidance of experienced dog trainers, Sea Dog Sit uses a combination of socialization with a social pack to decrease energy and anxiety as well as structured training with the use of a transition leash  to show the dog exactly how we want them to behave in social situations. The combination of structure and socialization go hand and hand to build confidence  and help your dog understand their role in your family.  The goal is to help your dog become calmer and more manageable so that they can join you in social situations that will provide the mental stimulation he or she needs to remain satiated.  Our program will enable you to expose your dog to new sights, new sounds, new smells, new dogs and new people with confidence in the skills and abilities of you and your dog.
